SJ McGarry

Under the pen name of SJ McGarry, ShirLee is an author, writer, poet, musician, and entrepreneur, and was raised in Southern California and active in the entertainment industry. She moved to Utah in 1977 and lives in Salt Lake City with her husband and furry family members she will feature in future books for children. She is a wife, mother and proud grandmother of fifteen grandchildren, and seven great-grandchildren.\nShe is currently working towards publication of her first finished Speculative Sci-Fi Fantasy novellas: Centaurius: The Prophecy Book 1, Centaurius: Into the Fracas Book 2, and Book 3, The Key: Fractured Earth of the Green Galaxy Series. ShirLee is an Associate Broker for Realtypath in Sandy, Utah and has worked in residential sales for over twenty-four years and is an active member of the Salt Lake Board of Realtors®. \nShirLee holds a Bachelor degree in music (Weber State University, UT) and a Masters of Fine Arts degree in Creative Writing-Fiction, School of Letters (National University, CA). She has published poetry, short stories, anthologies, music, and has won many awards in these fields, including the distinguished Poet Fellow award from Nobel House Publishers in London.\n
